The students of 4.3 are in the process of collecting media that displays the fantastic work they have completed this year. Each student has their own page where they will showcase their investigations and understanding of the curriculum. Stay tuned!
For students:
If you want to put some images on your page (and you should) you need to upload them onto the Wiki site - you cant just link to them on the school network, because then you can't see them unless you are using a school computer. To do this, click the "upload files" button on the bottom left of the page (under the list of student names) and follow the instructions there.
Its important that you give your picture/file an appropriate name, to keep everything tidy. I suggest you start with your name, then a word discribing what the picture is. For example I might name my images GilesPicture.jpg or GilesMyDog.jpg or GilesEgyptProj.jpg... That will keep all your images together on the list of files - you will see what I mean.
A few students have asked me how to put backgrounds on your wiki page. This is actually a bit tricky, and requires that you use a widget to edit the HTML code. I'll look at writing up a tutorial for those who are interested in giving this a try. I highly recommend you give it a go, especially if you're interested in webpage design for a career! Stay tuned.
